Chinese President Xi has invited European Union leaders to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

 As false news about the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in China increased recently, Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on European leaders to see the facts in their place.

 Xi made the call at a virtual summit with European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
  Speaking of the invitation, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said, "We invite our friends from all over the world, as well as the leaders of the European Union, to find out if the deliberate remarks are correct."
  They indicated that they would be happy to show everyone the real situation in Xinjiang, "Ambassadors of the European Union and member states in China expressed their desire to visit Xinjiang and we gladly accepted and started the work."
