Germany's largest export market was China

In a statement issued by the German Federal Statistical Office, it was reported that the total value of Germany's exports to China in April and June approached 23 billion euros, and Germany's exports to the United States reached 20 billion euros in the same period.

In recent years, the USA has been Germany's largest export destination.
In the newsletter titled "China Becomes Germany's Largest Export Customer for the First Time" published on the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) website, it is mentioned that German exporters are relying on trade with China more than ever before.  In the second quarter of this year, it was noticed that the volume of Germany's exports to China exceeded the volume of exports to the United States and other countries for the first time, because China exited more quickly from the new type of the Corona virus epidemic.
According to the report, the United States has never acted cautiously while "defending" its own interests.  Germany has closely felt the threat of sanctions imposed by the United States on the North Stream gas pipeline or companies operating in Iran.  On the other hand, according to the news, in the long run, the Chinese economy will get stronger and therefore more important as a market.
